Computer Based Testing Information

The initiative of Computer-Based Testing is an exciting new partnership between the Convention Industry Council and Prometric. Beginning in July of 2012, the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) paper-based exam will transition to a computer-based model. The electronic advancement coincides with the regular update of the CMP exam and introduction of the CMP International Standards, enhancing the global relevancy of the certification.

Exam Experience Simulation
Prometric has worked with CIC to provide a demonstration of what will occur during the administration of the CMP Computer Based Examination at a Prometric facility.   The demo is open for anyone to use.  This interactive demonstration will take approximately 30 minutes and can be accessed numerous times.

Important note:  This demonstration is intended only to provide a general sense of key aspects of the computer-based testing experience, and will not be scored nor can results be saved.   Once you have navigated to any other page your answer selection and exam features will not save.  This online sample is best used with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 or above at a resolution of 1024 x 768 or above. Using another internet browser or screen resolution may cause some features to malfunction. CIC cannot fix or provide technical support of these malfunctions in the simulation.

The items/questions in this simulation are not related to the actual CMP examination questions.  The sample questions have deliberate miscellaneous content unrelated to the CMP-IS and the CMP Programme.
