Development of Healthcare Subspecialty

CIC is seeking volunteer CMPs with specialized knowledge of healthcare meetings to participate in the development of a healthcare meeting certification. The certification will be built upon the CMP foundation and both general meeting planning knowledge and healthcare meeting expertise are prerequisites. The new certification will be a subspecialty of the CMP.

If you are interested in participating, please download the questionnaire below, which includes a description of the available volunteer activities and their time requirements.  The questionnaire is designed to assist CIC in finding highly qualified volunteers and will ask you to summarize your experience, professional expertise and interest areas.   

Certification development began in December 2012 and the exam is anticipated to launch in Q3 2013.  More information regarding qualifications and exam dates will be become available on our website once the development process is well underway.
