FREE Upgrade to Toolbox 3.0
for Registered Users of Toolbox 1.0 and 2.0!

In order to upgrade to Toolbox 3.0, you will first have to uninstall your current version of Toolbox. If you do not uninstall, you will lose your personal profile information saved in Toolbox.

Uninstall Instructions

 

Once you have uninstalled the old version of Toolbox, please click here to download the install file for the Toolbox. Please take a few minutes to read the download instructions first, as there are some important steps that need to be taken during this process.

Download Instructions
1. Click on the link above to begin the download of the Toolbox application.

2. A popup box will ask you if you want to save the file. Click save file.

3. Once the installation application has saved on your desktop or wherever you have defaulted for download saves, open the install application by double clicking on the APEX_Toolbox icon. Please make sure you have all programs on your computer closed. Toolbox will not install if MS Word is open or if MS Outlook is open.

4. Click on the next button.

5. You will have two install options. The default is for a 30-day free trial. Please select “Install Full Version” and then click the Next button.

6. There will be a screen that says “Get Product Key” click on that link and a web browser will open and you will be taken to a web registration page.

7. Complete the registration form including the check box that you have read the terms and conditions. Upon hitting submit you will receive your product key.

8. Highlight and copy the Product Key and return to the installation application and click Next.

9. Enter the same email used for the registration form and paste the Product Key.

10. Select where you would like the application to be install and click Next.

11. Review the installation information and click Next.

12. Click Finish. You will now be able to launch the APEX Toolbox. Upon first launch, a prompt will be displayed asking you for new profile information.

13. After you have finished entering your profile information, exit the application.

14. To import profile information from previous versions of Toolbox, copy the folder named ‘EventDocuments’ from the backup folder named ‘ApexBackup’ that you created in Step 1 and paste it in the location noted in step 2.
* If a folder with an identical name already exists, delete it before pasting the original, backed up folder.

15. Copy the folder named ‘Apex Meeting & Event Toolbox’ from the backup folder named ‘ApexBackup’ that you created in step 1 and paste it in your ‘My Documents’ folder located at C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents.
* If a folder with an identical name already exists, delete it before pasting the original, backed up folder.

16. Finally, launch the APEX application to verify the information pertaining to your old user profiles and events. If you do not see your original information from prior to uninstalling APEX, go back to step 9 and verify that you have restored the backed up folders to the correct locations.
