On January 11, 2010, the Convention Industry Council recognized five remarkable people who have significantly impacted the meetings and events industry by inducting them into the CIC Hall of Leaders. These individuals join 97 other extraordinary leaders already inducted into the CIC Hall of Leaders representing the industry's brightest talent and outstanding leadership.
This elegant evening honored, M. Theresa Breining, CMP, CMM, Thomas M. Mobley, Steve Porter (1954-2008), Preston Robert Tisch (1926-2005), and Jerry A. Wayne was held at the Fairmont Dallas.

After the gala, the evening festivities continue with PCMA’s popular Party With a Purpose (PWAP), immediately following the dinner on Monday night, January 11, 2010 from 9:00 p.m. - Midnight. Transportation will be provided directly from the Fairmont to Gilley’s. Please note, tickets to PWAP will not be sold at the CIC dinner, however tickets will be available at the entrance to Gilley’s that evening.
